Ready for the Spanish Auction tomorrow, Saturday. Vineman, Ken, we set the lots in the system settings. It's an Apple computer. In the keyboard settings, we assign the functions (lot 1), and the auction text appears automatically. There's no need to copy and paste. You do it the day before, and then in the auction, you just have to enter the lot number followed by the letter L. I've attached a photo; if you have any questions, I can upload more.

I've finished installing the motor, push button, and smart device to automatically raise one of the greenhouse windows. The total cost, including the geared motor, tubing, smart plug for the window motors, and the power outlet, was 180 per window. But it will be much easier not to think about the windows for most of the season; they'll open automatically when it's warm and close when it's cold. I can also raise or lower them with my phone. If there's a storm warning or strong winds, going to the greenhouse on stormy days is dangerous; this is much safer.

By 2026, it will be very easy to automate windows with smart home devices for blinds. The device costs 18, and in addition to controlling them with your phone, you can add a button to operate them manually if desired or if the Wi-Fi connection fails.

First Selection of my team 2026, Mothers 1 x 2618 and 2 x 2183, fathers the rest.
I will probably make changes, That's my first idea, and since the pollinators are in pots, I will pollinate them with the prettiest plants, those that produce the prettiest flowers, and those with the most walls.

I hope the force of Ron Wallace (as always when I use his products), Canna, and Chuck Norris will be with me this new season. In April, I have to go to the hospital for some minor touch-ups on my heart; I hope that by May I'll be as strong as a Spanish bull! Let's go!!

Sow the seeds directly into the pots; only the strongest will be planted in the ground or used as pollinators. Those that germinate a little later and don't seem as vigorous will be given to novice growers in the village, and I'm sure to some grower who's doing the sowing wrong and has no plants by mid-April.I hope that on Tuesday or Wednesday, after 3-4 days, I will see some seeds emerge from the soil.

2183-2618-2618 in front of 2618 are 2183 and 2115. It's going to be a shame to remove those bacups, the 2183 in the centre and the 2115 are beautiful, but maybe I prefer to have the 3 plants in the same direction towards the sunrise. The last week has been very rainy and without sun, I hope the sun is with us for a few days.

Today the plants are 60 days old, tomorrow I will prune the first secondary plants on the 2183 and on the 2618.

2618 x 2507 Dap 8. The secondary vine of the pumpkin broke, but I haven't removed it; I have
Other pumpkin dap 2 on this plant, in a better position, and more secondaries behind it. In 8 days (dap 10 of the second one) only one will remain. My favorite non-alcoholic beer from California, Athletic IPA, is delicious. I can't drink alcohol this year and I discovered this beer in Utah.

Plant 2183 doesn't disappoint; the DAP 10 pumpkin is doing well. It's not one of the fastest, but I really like its round shape.

I'm very impressed with the 2618 plant; it's a very fast-growing plant and is starting to get strong. I have two pollinated pumpkins, but if I fix the split at the node of the 2618 x 2507, I'll grow this one. Dap 12, very fast-growing pumpkin.

And here's a photo of the 2618. I think the 2020 Paton genetics have added some really nice vigor to the 2183 line. We'll see how it develops, but when pumpkins grow this fast, unless your last name is Paton, you start getting nervous. LOL

2618 Dap 22, maibe 250 pounds.
I've never had a pumpkin that was already the size of a tennis ball by day 2 or 3; day 10 was nearly 80 inches. Due to stem tension, which is my fault, two of the pumpkins (also day 2183) have stem splits-pretty serious splits. I know they're not growing to their full potential, but I'll fight them to the end.

One side of the tail, this split was caused by the secondary, it cracked and because it wasn't removed in time the split continued to the guide.

The other side has a vertical split, caused by tension. The pumpkin grew very fast, faster than I did, since I didn't realize there was too much tension. The damage is done; it will probably heal well, but the pumpkin's growth will no longer be at 100% of the plant's potential. I think we'll be around 70%. I know this because this pumpkin grew up to 45 cm in a single day, and after the split, it dropped to 30-32 cm and hasn't grown beyond 32 cm since.

2183 has the same tension split on one side, but this pumpkin didn't grow as fast as 2618; by day 20 it will be 25 inches less than 2618.
