So, it is what it is...and it was a positive surprise. This is my fruit off the 2064.2 Baumert plant (x open), and in the context of the overall situation (weather hasn't been summer-like at all, and the plant had made the impression that it could be sterile because of the various strange things it did...like female flowers opening at 6 p.m., male flowers having almost no pollen, the plant producing the tallest and largest salad in the patch) I am happy that the fruit eventually grew into a nicely colored and pumpkin-shaped pumpkin. Now, this is my 765.4 Wagler, it came in 3rd place at the weigh-off in Goerlitz/Ludwigsdorf. A BIG ThankYou to the weigh-off team, it was a fun day (as usual), and again they had booked sunny summer weather for that event ;)
