You don't want the pollination too early though, or the plant is too small. Or do you mean speed up plant growth to have an earlier pollination? Where I am, may means night temps 0-10 Celsius so a large hoop house is key. I'm not sure about the temperatures in CT but even if temps are higher a hoop house could still be beneficial to protect from weather fluctuations early season that could damage the plant. Looked at the offspring of the 2154 on average they are 9 percent heavy.

Maurice, when environmental conditions are good the first females pop at 12-14'. In the next 20 days the plant will be working on 50-70% termination. Even if you set the first one at 12' by the time main growth starts at 15 Dap that plant should be at 600 square ft. Aim to be completely terminated at 25-30. You should be 800 square ft plus. That is how fast your plant should be growing.

If everything goes well that should happen unless your plant grows either faster or slower.
