By all counts and imaginings from the cross, etc., this seed should 'slam' under the right circumstances; I've had several
'indicators' ('Wow, that one WAS getting big!') including a 'birdbath' fruit in '25 that got a blossom-end split that I did not seal with 'Flex-Seal' soon enough. It kept growing but it suffered the inevitable, eventually. It grows a larger-than-normal seedling, hence its use in experiments. More pics soon! eg
