Does anyone know the growth rates of the 3156 or where I may find it? I’m trying to find the ideal curve using the biggest pumpkins

The growth rate was fast

Gotta believe this pumpkin hit the 80#/day mark at some point. Love to know!

I recently heard it peaked at only 58 a day but held it for a while and went 13% heavy

im gonna say well over 75 as hitting an estimated 2790 seems impossible with only 58 a day

From what the Patons did, to tape 200 pounds less, it had to have pushed 65 minimum for a long growth curve

I dont get why you guys are arguing that it had to grow more, but yes if it was on a scale the actual gains would probably be higher than the measured gains. If the measured gains were 58 then great, just accept that number. Because it went heavy to chart it's reasonable to guess that the actual gains were probably a little bit higher.

I how long it took before Ron realized he hooked a big fish... I hope the SNGPG will tell the story in their newsletter.

And he said 58 over a 20 day period it must have hit est 60-65 and real time 62-70

Oh, maybe... Without a scale, we can only guess. But I'd guess that too.
