I brought my 1348 pumpkin to the BC giant pumpkin weigh-off in Langley, BC over the weekend where it came in at 1485 lbs. It's a new personal best which I'm very happy about. Here's a picture of me and Cassidy (Gardeneer-in-training) with the pumpkin.
I struggled really badly with fusarium on this plant from June onwards. I have decided to let my current patch lay fallow for a while and make a new patch for next year.
