This is the soil moisture that I like to see right now for my patch. Dry on top and moist enough a few inches down to keep the roots alive. I'm backing way off after losing the 2070. I'll be watering in 40 gallons of compost tea early tomorrow morning before I go on a patch tour to add the good stuff back in with my fertilizers as I did a heavy oxidate drench yesterday morning. The humidity has been significantly better over the last few days with dew points in the 50s and even some 40s this weekend! Looking like half an inch to an inch of rain Sunday night into Monday so I'll need to hope for some luck with that. I'm trying my best!
