Today's view of both plants from above. Unfortunately it's been constantly raining for weeks. The irrigation had not kicked on yet this year. This has unfortunately let to rot in the main vine of my 2266 Kisamore (bottom plant). I noticed this morning a leaf had fallen over at the base after 3 more inches of rain last night, and on inspection the main at that node was a pile of mush. I had to cut the main off about 8 feet down from the stump as the rot had travelled several feet, in an attempt to keep some viable plant. Hopefully will be able to pollinate on a secondary on the remaining vine but I'm not holding my breath. Usually this doesn't go well, which is a shame since the plant was looking amazing. I should have unburied the main sooner given all the rain and moisture. My other plant looks to be holding up OK so far...
