Hi!
Third time grower here, but first time with a big variety of great seeds. I got them all from the auctions. Big thanks to the spring hope auction organizers for the extra seeds:).
Anyways, I grow outdoors and achieved 1157 lbs & 913 lbs+HDA last year. This year I'll grow 3 pumpkins and I need help with choosing good genetics.
Please help me choose 6 Seeds (2 for each start hole)
Thank you!

This is the 2404 Barron plant. Why is the second true leaf shaped so weirdly? Am I still good to go with that Plant?
Thanks!

Let's see if the 2404 Barron will grow. Still have concerns about it but the genetics are worth the try.

Same issue with the 1976 New seed, but time will show.

The patch for this year- going for three plant- two hoop houses have heating cables and the third one has a heater in it. The Tarpaulin is a leftover from a "silo-Tarpaulin-> it is meant to be a herb killer

Here is a closer view of my patch- needed that big windcover because the wind is everyday present and pretty strong (caused by valley-mointain winds)
Back to Back:
Hoop house left= 2404 Barron & 1976 New
Hoop house right= 2369 Werner & 2020 Paton
Hoop house on the right end= 701.2 Young

I guess this leaf damage on the old ones is caused by to high humidity in the hoop houses??

Next season will be greenhouse season.
I'm sick of the winds I have here- double wind fence and I already know that there will be big leaf damage again this season.

More and more leafes on my plant look like this. Could the cause be sunburn (i don't use shading nets)
Or rather something else?
