While I've been away the onions appear to have grown quite well.

The biggest onion is 7 3/4" and they are getting 4l of water every week at a conductivity of 1.4
I'm surprised at how well they grow with no natural light whatsoever.

A bit more interesting is my line up for this year. I'm going with four plants, which work wise is possibly too much but we will see. I will probably put in the 2819 early as pollinator plants.

Here's a bit of very good news in the as normal crap weather in February. The onions are doing well and the biggest is eleven and a half inch in circumference.

I've got some yellowing die back on some of the leaves and I think it's started from tipping. Some of its probably from the light and next season I will make the cabinet a metre higher. My second thought is water, probably lack of it. I've been putting on 4 litres once a week like Peter but I'm in much bigger pots so I'm increasing it to every 4 days to see if it improves.
All good fun.
