We were down for several hours today due to a hung-router. I just drove into work so the site would be back up for tonight's auction. The wife is thrilled. (it's 45 minutes each way)

Ken and John, The PNWGPG are extremely grateful for everything you did in order to make our auction go successfully. You went the "extra mile" in order to get BP.com back on the web. Some thought that it was due to the auction Friday night. All went quite well for our auction this evening. I was not "ejected" once this evening! For this, I am very grateful! Is there some way for you to be closer to the server?

Glad we could help. Moving closer to the server is not going to happen. However, a new router might do the trick! We are always trying to make the site faster and more reliable. Hopefully we can get the router problem solved too.

I've been logging on to this site for almost 5 yrs. and have been a member going on 4. I have never seen as much dedication as Ken and John have to their cause. You guys epitomize the term "good will toward man" Thanks for everything!

Our company is looking at alternative ISP's right now. We will likely be switching providers this year and the router will be replaced at that time. It is not just the "cost" of the router. It is the time it takes to research the actual cause of the problem and ensure that a new router would in fact remedy it. The bottom line is that BigPumpkins.com has a sweet deal with Software Impressions picking up the cost of our bandwidth. BigPumpkins.com does over 150 MB of traffic every day on their line. If you want to help out Software Impressions you could shop at www.LBGreen.com. They are a high-class jewelry/gift chain based in CT. We spent several months building that site last year. I would be curious to hear your feedback on the site even if you don't buy anything. End of shameless plug. LOL!
