Ken and I will be working on our "backorder" problems this Monday.

It turns out that addressing, packaging, and mailing 1,600 seeds in a matter of a month was too much for us to handle in our spare time.

We still have some more seeds in reserve (including yours). We didn't want to post them too soon and have them snatched up, so we are holding off until April.

Remember, we are not a company. We are two enthusiasts trying to provide a service for free. The downside of this is it takes time to get the stuff out. So please hang in there with us, there is still PLENTY of time before planting.

I can understand that some are critical of the speed in which the orders are being turned around. We are doing our best. Next year, I can assure you... this process will be much more automated and streamlined based on what we have learned this year. I can also assure you that the process IS much better now than it was next year. We are still amazed at the phenomenal success of the seed give away.

WildBill, thanks for the question.

Hey....cut these guys some slack huh ?! Its a hobby not a business.....next time someone volunteers something for you go bust thier chops....and see if they ever volunteer again. This stuff takes a tremendous ammount of time and effort lets not forget that................G

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come down on you at all WildBill.

A lot of people have been asking similar questions, and I was hoping to answer them all in one post. That's why I thanked you for the question.

Believe me, it is frustrating for us as well, now instead of improving the site, we are stuffing envelopes. I will admit, it is a labor of love though...

Wow! You volunteers must have your hands full just taking care of the seeds. I do wonder how one goes about getting the seeds when they are available. Thanks.

When they are available, it is as simple as filling out a form and sending us postage.

Check back in the fall for new selections.
