Hi everyone. Congrats on a great season as well as many previous seasons. Have not been around for a while but have been following you all for several years. I grew a 449 and won fist place at our fair after Ken D got me hooked with some seeds and introduced me to some incredible people and world record holders including my favorite, Dick Wallace. One of my bucket list items, I am healthy but can die tomorrow like everyone else, is to get to Damariscotta for the Monday Regatta. I am finally retired and this is the year. I live in Damariscotta a they have used my giants the last 2 seasons for boats in the regatta. You'll never forget get. It's the best festival I've ever seen. I'll have 12 fruit on display. Enjoy the pumpkin fun!

Leon, my wife and I took a ride up from Old Orchard. I have been waiting for several years to attend and finally retired and made it to Damariscotta. Her is my experience.
1) Went Sunday expecting a parking disaster, found it but someone pulled out at the church and we scored big time.
2) Dressed pumpkins, several of them down Main Street. Incredible.
3) Crowd was very polite and Maine like.
4) We will go back to town. I recommend it to all.
5) Huge fan of garlic fries and the food truck did not disappoint.
6) Public bathrooms.
7) Regatta was well organized. Watched from the Boat Ramp and enjoyed the experience.
8) Most importantly, my wife was once on a bus touring patches in Rhode Island with me and had fun. Went to the Regatta and now wants to go back!
9) oth my wife and I would paddle next year for sure!

We will be visiting again either before January or early Spring for sure. People were great, lovely town. I recommend visiting for sure especially during Pumpkinfest!

I'm so happy you guys got up to see the pumpkins and the hole festival. It's a amazing thing what they do in our town. It's all voluntary. No body gets paid they just enjoy doing it. I'm very lucky to be 10 minutes away from it at my farm. If you guys come up next year I'll try to get together with you and show you around the area. If you ever want any seeds let me know I've got plenty.
