Is it wrong to sib a seed from somebody else's genetics? Is that like your putting your name on someone else's seed ? I don't want to do the wrong thing .Id appreciate any advice. Thanks

No, make whatever cross, sib, or self pollination you want to make. They are your plants & you will be doing the work !

OJ65 I know an excellent grower that doesn't live far from you. Contact me and I will see if he will mentor you.

That would be great to know someone else in my area. I don't have email but my wife can send you some info ,in the next day or so off her phone. Pretty crazy around here today with grandkids. Thanks much

Oj,
Any thing you plant is going to be from a seed with genetics derived from someone else's cross. Sib or otherwise. You name goes on it because you grew it, not because you own the genetics. Having said that, you probably shouldn't cross it with a cucumber. :)

Yep what the others said! Whatever you grow is yours. The most important thing in is the methods you use to grow the pumpkin. Believe it or not, it IS more important than the seed.
