If you want a better chance of your seeds being planted, and/or to be at least known about forever,
I suggest doing the above because I, myself find it hard to consider growing anything without an indication of what it MAY look like in the end; It just HELPS it along butt does not determine the outcome, although the same applies throughout all of life's decisions - Would you buy a CAR unseen based solely upon its MPG, seating capacity and reliability?...NOT knowing it is pink, purple or mustard-yellow with a roof rack and 13-inch wheels? 'I wanted great gas mileage';
Well, bad example, because you get what you NEED first, I would hope, lol!

Okay - real situation: I've had a 1511.5* Haist squash seed for a long, long time and have wanted for the same duration to grow squash butt've never wanted to buy and devote myself to anything that is not as old as the ones I have in my collection;
They'll be being tried this spring - Older ones have not sprouted;

I saw a pic or 2 of the 1511.5*'s progeny at about 250 pounds in someone's BigPumpkins.com diary and now, I can't wait for spring to get here! Boom - 1511.5 Haist is in the lineup!

As easy as THAT, anyone might view a pic(s) of your fruit(s) and have the same reaction.

Is that ones of yours or of others, as I see none, unless I've got the wrong 'Ashton', and there are other(s) - no biggie, as in right away I begin researching based on any tidbit, which is the start of finding out from there.
'Any' can always be 'more', lol---eg

No no I upload pictures of other people's fruit as I find them, I like seeing what fruit look like, so I poke around trying to find pictures. Once I do, I upload them so others can see
