That always surprises the heck out of me when it happens but it happened to me once too. I tied for third place to the ounce with an Atlantic Giant. Mark Lombardi's pumpkin was exactly the same weight as mine, to the ounce! They weighed them twice and they still came out exactly the same. Mark looked at me and said, how the heck did that happen? I couldn't believe it either. The fair paid out for four people that year, instead of the normal three. |
