It will need a week to recover but these plants are tough. Give it a try. It will look miserable but I doubt you'll kill it.

Try to get a descent sized root ball.and yes it will suffer and look bad -but if you get some descent root mass,a few leaves and at least one growth tip it will make it.

I have done it before, after moving the plant I had the irrigation go off for 5 minutes every hour. That helped reduce the damage on the leaves until the roots could recover. The key will be keeping a root ball intact as best you can.

Wet soil before move to keep dirt around roots in a ball. Dry soil will crumble off easier.
