Curious what you are doing excellent at growing besides pumpkins & gpc items.
I've found my climate and soil to be pretty amazing for garlic. What's your one thing that grows better than anything else??

Lately Weeds. I have been helping or growing in the family garden since I was was 5 or 6 years old. I was also in 4H, FFA and a Master Gardener for the State of Minnesota. I like to try something new every year. I have grown many of the fruits/vegies on the BP master gardener growers but find I neither have the time or interest. It is only pumpkins, watermelons and this year butternut squash,

My Dutch White Clover Cover Crop; What I planted LAST year that didn't come up for its purpose is beautiful now, lol, but is only in, IRONICALLY, patches throughout my patches. Suppose I'll leave what's there and supplement all around it - yeah---eg

Have had some great years with chiles in 3 gallon pots. Greens always do great here. The collards and kale I planted at my mom’s place last year even survived this winter.

LOL on weeds Bill. There's a lot of weed seeds where I garden as well. Carrots do well in the sandy loam soil here.

Apples are in my blood, My Great Grandpa, Grandpa, and 4 great uncles all had orchards in the Wenatchee Valley. I had some good trees growing at the old place. Now that we have moved I just planted 5 new trees and am looking forward to seeing what they do. I planted 2 Jonagolds (which is what I had at the old place), a Harrison and a Winesap which are both supposed to be excellent cider apples and a Granny Smith for my wife.
