My melons have been in the grow tent under 3500K grow light for nearly a month and they are ready to go into the greenhouse. How do you recommend hardening them off? 1-2 hours of sun first day, add an hour a day or so for a few days? How do you do it?

The greenhouse is still a protected environment, The harsh UV rays are blocked and so is the wind. You shouldn't have any problems. I would just set them in. The only thing you will have to think about is keeping the temperature from either extreme.

As with many other plants dont shock the roots with excess dampness or cold dirt. Hopefully the dirt is warm... I think about 65 for watermelons? But at least 60.
