I have been digging through my old seeds and came across this packet of 1237 Pingrey 14. Its not in the registry and the packet doesn't indicate much info other than it is a 800 Neil x 996 Heist. Can anyone tell me anything about this seed?

Yeah, i don't grow squash (but really want to?) and i did see a 'DMG' in one of the auction lineups for the 1237* when i used the Search Window;
Judging by the only pictured offspring of the 800 Neily and the fantastic offspring of the 996 Haist @ 1200+ pounds X 4? equaling SIX for BOTH of these parent seeds? ...and super-green all of them?
i'd say simply "Grow it!".

the DMG denotation may contribute to a fruit's likelihood of being put on PF by the grower, IMHO---good luck! eric g

It was DMG UOW. It developed a pin hole in late August. It was going to be really big for a squash from that time. Good shape, great dark green color. I

The 996 Haist that pollinated it grew my 1362.5 Pugh, which was the North American record for an hour, until Scott Holub’s 1585 (I think that’s what it weighed) was weighed later in the day at Bauman’s.
