Has there been any change in the sign-up process to accommodate the fact that some sites are not ready to commit this so early in the year? I could see a sponsor site wanting to wait a few months to see what the pandemic will do before committing to a weigh-off. Maybe the GPC could set up a process for “tentative” weigh-offs with the option of paying later in the year once the sponsors have committed. Please include this process in your system this year.

Am I missing something here. Are you a site representative or in some way involved with the inner working of making these weigh-offs happen. Last year in the middle of a Global Pandemic the hard working volunteers at the sites and the GPC found a way to hold 90% of our weigh-offs. Changes were made by all to insure our weigh-offs took place. These changes were to numerous for this post and in most cases unnecessary. As our situations are improving we have decided to error on the positive side and believe that we will have a normal Weigh-off season. If you have any further concerns please contact your local GPC Rep. to discuss them.
