Tripod to lift pumpkin, shown lifting 550est. pumpkin. Unit is constructed out of 3 6-8" diameter hemlock trees about 14-16 feet long. At the top the trees are connected by a 24" piece of threaded rod run throug drilled holes. The holes in the side logs are drilled at and angle. To reinforce the rod the chain was run around the ends. The hoisting mechanism is a 1 ton level hoist connected to a strap lifter obtained from PandPseed.
