Has anyone ever used root powder to encourage better root growth after transplanting? Like adding root powder to the hole you plant the seedling in? Doeski

I think I remember some people here reporting bad results trying this. Rooting powder is usually for starting cuttings such as grape vine clippings. Mycorrhiza is probably a much better idea but I'm not an expert. Good luck!

I would use it on the stem nodes to get rooting there, before I would use it on the actual stump roots. But even on those nodes. pumpkins root real easily.
