John, I don't think I could have put it any better. Not sure what weather pattern this is but it is a challenge to stay motivated some days..like every day the last two weeks. With the amount of rain we have been getting and growing in clay, I have taken up ceramics. Not to mention the cool nights seem to really slow things down. Looks like in about twelve days might get to see what the sun looks like. Marathon...keep keeping on. Things will shift around sooner or later.

Yes John been a tough start in many parts, wind storms, heavy rains and cold. That system you just had heading our way now, thankfully we have held off setting out plants probably for another week until this weather comes around hopefully? But hey..."bad start good finish" as they say! Something like the horse races recently. Take care and go easy.

Each year presents its own challenges all over the world. I always tell people to make sure to enjoy the journey and learn how to manage best you can. Every pumpkin that hits a scale is a win in my book and should be celebrated.
