Great pic! I haven't read the article yet, but are the dripper holes best facing down onto the soil (more likely to get blocked) or up into the air (less likely to be as effective)?

Gerald UK- I put the dripper holes facing down as this ensures the water droplet comes in direct connect with the soil and I have not had any blockage issues as long as you use a 200mesh filter. This is the 15mil drip tape that I typically get 7+ years out of as well with no issues.
Ned- Using a turf grass cover crop and then weed-block early in the season that is rolled back as the plant growers helps. The plant shade reduces some of the pressure, but repeated hand picking is what provides the final, finished look.
