I am not sure there is anything you can do at this point, because there are so many it would make no sense to try and do so many little surgeries. I have had these types of spots happen to my pumpkins. Keep doing what you are already doing. But realize you are at natures whim. I would look two get it weighed in 2 weeks rather than 3 if possible. There is a good chance it could still be solid. It is not going to be a long keeper, so the clock is ticking.

Yeah, there's not gonna be an easy fix for that. Looks like anthracnose but I was also wondering if its not biological then maybe it might be a chemical burn. Little bits of fertilizer or something might initiate weakness in the cell membranes? If its biological then I wonder if a copper fungicide would work better than the daconil.

It’s unlikely chemical burn , the only thing I’ve sprayed in the last month is pyrethrin , daconil , and insecticidal soap.
I think I will open up on of the spots tomorrow to see if they are rotting underneath or just surface blemishes currently .
Would you spray with copper at a normal mix rate or use it straight and wipe it on , similar to what I did with the dacronil?
Thanks for the advice

I definitely wouldnt use pure copper solution. Even daconil can be somewhat damaging at full strength. Id just wash the surface at whatever rate is recommended. I have zero experience doing this myself... Just an idea. You might regret cutting into it... yes it would be nice to know more but keep in mind that your pumpkin isnt a cat, it doesnt have nine lives. Maybe someone else will refute this idea.
