I am always jealous of the squashes you grow in Europe. For some reason they just seem to come out darker.

Thank you all for the kind words :) Yes, I agree, they don't get much better looking than that. Currently, this fruit still has a shiny skin, but at weigh-off time it will certainly be a bit less beautiful. As it gets older, there will be some cantelouping, and the more light exposed parts with turn from beautiful dark green into a somewhat brownish green. So, no need to be jealous ;)
