I have always thought that Southern New Jersey and the Delmarva peninsula have a really good climate to grow a record watermelon! Nice warm day temps, (but typically not the sky high 95-100 degree inland temps). combined with nights in the 70's for much of the growing season. Grow em big Alex! |
