McMillin Giants

Salem Ohio

The yellow leaves is a genetic trait called B-Gene. The 2593 Paton is a 1875 Mendi x 2005 Haist.
The 2005 has the b-gene in it. The 2005 Haist produced the 2517 Haist which also has the B-Gene.

This is not a fertilizer / nutrient issue. It’s just a genetic trait of that seed and nothing to worry about.

Good luck this year and hopefully you’ll grow a Giant!

If you have had cool nights any plants can show yellowing. I agree, one way or another it’s nothing to worry about.
Good luck Ian

A little more phosphorus perhaps? I think its also associated with excess rain/watering or a lack of hot sun.
