Looks pretty good actually. Maybe just bad luck. Looks like you are doing everything right, but check this guys stuff out if you are doubting yourself. He has some good content about different crop stages needing different fertilizers on YouTube.

Not sure but I see the internal cracks developing into the blossom end already. Also bottom pic there doesn't appear to be much orange rind at blossom end surrounding the pumpkin pulp from I can see? Basically it's the start of seed chambers forming into their pockets and separated too fast. Just my thoughts.

We have never considered the pressure within a pumpkin...nor the vacuum. eg

LK - Them's sum naaaiiice grapes!!! Great, brief article. Ben, sorry for your losses. Do investigate your fert options. I had thought fruit shape was a factor but no - nice, football-shaped contenders. No NEED to reply. You need yer energy---eg

Yeah, bummer. I wanted you to succeed with those pumpkins, McMillin. Ironically, it seems the only way to get a successful May pollination is to live in Alaska. Sorry for my half baked posts on calcium, there's lots of room for someone smarter than me to speak pumpkinese with the proper authority & experience, (hint hint, travis). I'll shut up now!

A constant stream of cool water over a pumpkin 24/7 would probably cause a vacuum in a fruit whereas too warm a fruit is probably under pressure - Combining this with a rapidly-growing fruit simply double-whammies that blossom end that is too thin to stand up to any pressure AND/OR rapid growth until a brag-about-able 11-13 inches, IMHO. 2 Much 2 Soon---eg

I guess this sorta got figured out on the previous page, all butt the vacuum/pressure theory. Maybe applicable to another grower. eg
