I have had the cracking problem with cherry tomatoes too. I almost quit growing them altogether until I tried the The new cherry tomato variety 'Jasper' from Johnnies. It is a really sweet crack resistant cherry tomato. The seeds are expensive but I doubt I will ever grow another variety after watching it hold up so well in last years monsoons! YOu can often harvest the whole truss at once because they hold up so well, which makes picking easier too.
