Dang... if u ask me that little sprout on your kickstand leaf is the new main. Give it a few days, you could even leave that large leaf for energy.... looks like its still connected enough to be useful but I wouldnt let it invest any more effort into that main.

You could even salvage that main as bad as it looks. These things do know how to heal. If they are allowed to do so, they can even fuse back together, with some diligent care.

Don't cut that guide, leave the plant like this, and wait for that secondary to come out well to leave it as principal. It will work, for sure.

Agree with rmen if your game knock the tip off the old main to force the secondaries as you do on a root stock when you put a graft on top

The Horror, been there and have messed up my share of seedlings in the "clotch structure" stage! If it was mine I would try to salvage the plant. Cut off the broken main and train a secondary as the new main. Its early so you still have time to get a wbopper of of that rare 1109 squash plant.

Been there and that really sucks. Grow the new main as stated above. IMO a 2ndary as a new main at this point is better than had it been a 10 foot plant.
