Anyone know why this seed, which grew the WR 211 MacKinnon, was not widely planted? I have one available but not sure I want to grow it. Thanks

probably for the same reason you're having, lol--- this is supposed to be MY big year for a monster field pumpkin as well. no one likes to spend that 'last dollar' or use up just the right 'Someday Seed' - as anyone would tell anyone: 'Grow IT!' and good luck---eg

Plant it as a back up to what you want to plant. If it grows great fine. Otherwise your other choice would be right.

Right now it is my first choice. Was wondering if a low seed count was the reason it has not been grown much.

My Guess is that the 81 Wolf was garnering all the attention. For some reason we haven't had as many FP seeds that have clearly separated themselves from the pack as standout seeds. I wonder why.
