What's the cure for blossom end leakage?! I have one that leaks for a day then it turns gel like. I remove that, apply captan and fan for 12 hours then the process starts over again. Fruit continues to grow so I'm beginning to wonder if leaving it alone is the right thing to do. Any thoughts?

I always have 'criers' as I call them. So far all that ever happens is that gel stuff solidifies and they quit leaking, till I peel it off, which then starts the whole process over again. I just leave them be, paint a little daconil over the area and make sure they have some air flow by removing a few leaves a short spae away from the pumpkin. I try to leave the leaves over the pumpkin alone.
