What size pot do you pot up to when coming out of six pack starter cubes? Should I wait until some roots start coming out the bottom? They are only a couple days old right now. Thanks.

I try not to pot up,they should be going outdoors at 3 to 4" tall,if you started them too early and have to pot up I'd pot up to 4" pots when the plants are 3 to 4" tall.hope this helps.

Wouldn't hurt to pot them up into something that has more nutrients than a standard seed starting mix. Id go with Dans recommendation, and then if you still cant get them in the garden, go up to a gallon size after they have made good use of the 4" size. Ive had good results (but not Dan level results) with this.
One plant I extremely neglected in a six starter pack for nearly two months so it was totally rootbound, yellowing and barely alive at all. It then proceeded to grow my personal best (at the time) of 5.04. Id say give them the best dirt you can as soon as you can, as Dan would, but also know that they are somewhat resilient no matter what you do.
