So two years ago I purchased 5 seeds of "The Worm" Clementz 5.46lb 2020 Domingo (Bubdingo) 9.65 WR Marley self Pollinated in Dairy Doo . I grew a 1.11 lb tomatoe and saved the seeds. A week ago I planted two seeds and both germinated and look strong. So here’s my question : How does the genetics work on this one I am growing this year ,am I still back to the original potential from the two parents ? In other words I don’t know what to expect should I invest time and effort and grow these seeds out that I saved ? Does it have good potential ?

As long as bees didn’t transfer some cherry tomato pollen (or other smaller fruit) to the blossom that produced your fruit, you should be good. But you never know. Last year I had a Domingo plant from a pedigree seed & it gave me cherries. The foliage was different too. All of the blossom trusses were typical cherry tomato so I pulled it.

All things averaged, I'd estimate a 50% chance of breeding true. You wont know until you try.

I agree with materdoc as long as you didn't grow small eating tomatoes to close that bees didn't cross them you should be fine. When i made the Megazac and Megadom crosses in my bacement my tomatoes were only 6 oz. to 9 oz. And their seeds grew 5.61 lb. and 6.23 lb tomatoes.

OK since I only had some bigger tomatoes all around it let me plant a couple more of the saved seeds and I’ll keep you updated what goes on with them .
