Hello everyone I know that you guys are going to be growing giant tomatoes this coming year ( 2022) and I was thinking how many of you are growing the big zacs or domingo tomato. I recommend the big zac tomato. So which one of these two sought after giants are you guys rooting for this growing season. And good luck with you fellow growers on this as well.

My 8.36 was MegaDom so naturally I will be growing that.
But also Domingo, Big Marley and MegaZac.
I base this decision upon how often my plants form megablooms.

Domingoes have done better for me. I just let my plants grow wild again this past year. They sure dont get very big when left unpruned and not regularly fertigated. At most 1-1.5 lbs. I will try a hoophouse and some wow packs if I want to get back in the tomato game.

I just decided to get back to growing giants...tomatoes for sure next year..I will have to see what I have available for seeds...they are all old. Thinking about 20 plants this year...for sure one will be a Yellow Delbrut, one a Big Marley...and maybe a MegaBrut. The other 17 are unsure....not many Domingoes in my seed collection. Hopefully, i will find an auction friendly.

Bob, I have some 9.44 LaRue X Open seeds from a tomato that didn't make it to the scale from a dismal looking plant I can send you. I have your address.

Greg, I would love seed from that dismal plant...It will make into the 20 for sure..if I can get it to sprout. Double dismal has to be better than dismal :)

Dismal plant caused by sun and lack of care after sun burnt plant.

I am not sure what will happen for it to become double d in my garden, too many possibilities to predict. The genetics will survive it.

Bubble should go in mail tomorrow Bob. You're getting 20+ 9.44 LaRue X Open seeds. Good luck. Just give me several seeds if you set a new world record. :-)

I put a return address label on my bubble I am sending you. I'll take some Megamutt D seeds. I am out of them.

I'm doing both, but my favourite is definitely Big Marley (F3 I believe). Trying to beat my best of 4.87, which was set with 2.59 DeMars, which was Big Marley F3.
