Hard to believe the 10 pound mark has been surpassed, but it has. Maybe Prokchop has something competitive as I don't. What is it they say in England, "The King is Dead, long live the King?" Your reign was great though short lived. Come on Prokchop, show us an 11 pound tomato.

Thats hillarious and believable. The women in my life have always been far more interested in how well Cindy was doing than how well Joel was doing.

Take a hard look at the new world record tomato. Do you see the two stems? Is this one tomato or two tomatoes that have grown together. I lost The Great Tomato Hunt the last year it was held because of a tomato that turned out to be two tomatoes after it was dissected. The contest was over though the owner of the contest told me later that I should have won. He was so upset that he ended The Great Tomato Hunt. Who witnessed this tomato and how hard did they look at it? Can we see a picture of the other side? I am sure Dan will be providing it. This is important because it involves a world record and the 10 pound mark.

Marv I have taken a hard look at the pic.
There is the stem & then there is a smaller piece that is part of the blossom truss.
It looks legitimate.

I was witness to the tomato and it is the real deal. In my opinion it has a single stem and is fully connected. We were able to clearly see all sides and the bottom up close and everyone was quite satisfied. What appears to be a smaller stem on the top looks to be the attached peduncle of another flower cluster which is very typical for a tomato. Congratulations to Dan on an amazing accomplishment! He has certainly set the bar high once again!
