Has anyone ever seen a tomato survive sunburn? Do they always go on to rot? Sorry for your loss Porkchop.

Oh... holding back mag here too. But its probably easy to get deficient when growing a ten pound tomato in five gallons. Better luck later this year.

Don’t feel bad for me, I’ll still try to harvest ..it’s not soft....yet... we will see how stringent the bucket police are...lol...took a clone from this one though that’s ready to go in the bucket...maybe plant the bucket and keep going.?..we’re still planting stuff here. Almost all in the ground. Such hard work but can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yours look great marv! ..hope yours stays green Brandon...def keep it shaded

Remember, last year he jumped off a roof, mangled his knee, and still got the world record! This tomato booboo is nothing, I’m sure he will pull through as always,

Very unlucky Porkchop, that was looking great, and in a bucket. So is that just from sunburn? And yes I've read your comments and I am watching intently on my experiment with ugly one.

Lol wixom.....Stillman I dunno for sure..next time I’ll prolly light foliar a balanced formula in case something is not getting into the plant. High calcium maybe?....I sometimes think this happens when you shut them down too quick . So maybe let one sideline tip grow?...Who knows...But this always happens w my first truss sets. Be patient with these Domingos...more plant/roots seem to help. You are looking for a healthy green little baby fruit...no brown stuff, healthy young white stigmas. I see some beautiful plants in the diary’s that could have a beauty at the first truss.... But Domingos will throw good blossom all season if you are in healthy soil that breaths well....make sure it’s healthy, healthy wherever you decide to set. Back to staring at boring little plants here.
