Porkchop! You better protect this one. I’m thinking you’d better use your jock strap rather than your G string to hold her up! http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=308848

Gotta say I dont get all the g string pics... when they get that heavy that weggie might put some pressure on your tomato's parts... Lol.

Very true glen...I’m being vigilant...I’m actually making time out of the day to check...mostly to just stare...hoping to make a video of the garden and maybe out on The utube...we’re doing good w the tomatoes this year

Porkchop, I expect good things out of your patch every year. You have to be one of the hardest working growers out there. I wont guess yet on your weight..I can be too easily fooled. I hope you got rid of that nasty tomato eating critter. So far this year, I am liking the paint bag experiment. Seems to put even pressure on the tomato and does not hold water. The biggest downside, measuring is very inaccurate.

Thanks bob...I’ve studied pics of the 8.22 vs time vs yadda yadda...if I can get another 9 days I’d be hoping for 27x27x26.5...not many crevices...this is based on shape and the 26+” I got two ways in the last week..eyeballing the third measurement...really haven’t measured since Friday as Ned really did steal my tape measure...told him to keep it for luck...I’ll get a new one tomrw...either way, the joking is at an end...time to get serious for a little bit...we’ll, mostly serious...as always, will share the ride...

If you can get those measurements Porkchop, that would be really great. From the picture it looks like the most accurate measurement would be to take two three way measurements and add them together. Obviously, a few of the measurements would have to estimates. Running the tape around the top is going to give you a big air gap. Do you have your contact with the gpc in place?

Thanks JaCK!!!!....I put another one on this morning...never had a 4 panty hoe sling before...watching very closely for any sign of red and will adjust when necessary...it looked big and green when Ned was here last Friday...still green today...And I think it’s bigger...There’s a few earlier sets that are flashing but they are ripening very slow..watching them like a hawk as well..
