Did the seed come from your garden and did it possibly cross last year?

No this seed has wild claims !!! It's called climbing triple crop !!! Known for growing 15 foot vines and crazy amounts of beafsteak tomatoes. I only planted 3 plants just to see what it could do not expecting anything but so far it has grown my largest megabloom and its my fastest growing tomato so far ??? I was just hoping to grow a 3 or4 pounder when i planted it but hopefully i it can grow a nice 6 pounds or more ???

Impressive wixom. I grow the triple crop every year, I have had large ones on it,(One to two pounders) but never like the one you mention. They are a good eating tomato.

How are you pruning it? Maybe new variety for potential crossing? Good luck with it, hope it goes really big.

So, what exactly is the history of this seed? How did it come about?

Marv its best to google it. Its been around foreve.bnot i have already topped it and i will prune it short like i do on my other plants. That is one reason i tried this veriety. I wonted to see what would happen if i pruned a vigorous growing beafsteak plant to only 3 feet tall with only one tomato.

I am growing a beefsteak variety hybrid called Porterhouse that consistently puts out 2-4 pound single blossom tomatoes that I will be trying to cross with a 5.04 Clayton (Domingo), a 4.12 Karkos (Delicious), and a 5.175 Hill (Big Zac) to see if these crosses produce something really big. I also am planning to cross a 5.04 Clayton with a 5.175 Hill.
