Aren't giant tomatoes weird enough already? I can not even imagine what other strange things might show up from this. Some people already think we are doing really nasty things to the plants.

Pretty much all soil is radioactive. All potassium is radioactive. So any tomato seeds would meet your guidelines. And if that is not enough for you tape the seeds to a banana lmao.

WW, people have irradiated tomato seeds before & tried to grow them out.
I had thought of doing that in the past myself.
However, what I understand is that the plants that had mutations were all deleterious ones, the plants grew weird & some were sterile.
None had beneficial affects.
There is a tomato variety from some seeds that went up on the space shuttle. I have heard that it is not very remarkable.

On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

Just take your seeds to a local radiologist and have him stick them on his x-ray machine for a week or so. Better yet, a doctor doing radiation therapy.

Lol It grew off your 8.22 so we are in the same boat. As long as you rock it in a different direction we wont sink... I'm sure we do look funny though. No seriously I dont want to be on the autistic toddler boat. Its...well, to put it nicely... too much fun.

I think you'd do better with the 8.22 the 5.04 is extremely radioactive...

Well if you really want to grow radioactive tomatoes, you need the right containers. So I'm half way there because I'm growing in 1950's Civil Defense cans used in nuclear fallout shelters from the Cold War era! No kidding, you could see my setup under growing diaries, Saberonyx......... They make the perfect larger containers since they hold 17.5 gallons.

oooh I like where this is going! I am due for a dental cleaning. I could ask if they'd zap the seeds for a scan... hmmmmm I have not heard about potassium being radioactive but I do know that in excess it can cause death. they use a type of potassium for lethal injections.

very cool saberonyx.

yes I did grow that 10-toe mato last year!

a lot of my research on this pointed me to weird photos of Internal proliferation where the seeds sprout inside the tomato.

people always ask if I ate the big tomatos...I'm like NOPE lol

If you're going to get your seeds zapped at the dentist, make sure that the hygienist has the settings on max and you're not in the chair.
