Last year we ran this contest and Jay Yohe was the winner. I am opening the contest earlier. Prizes have yet to be determined...but trust me..they will be good. You only get one guess...in the case of duplicate guesses of the same weight..only the first counts. Good Luck

At Gale Woods I am guaranteeing the tomato prize fund of $1000 first, $350 second, $150 third, $100 fourth, $100 fifth, $100 sixth...total tomato money $1800.

Place your guesses here..on what you think will be the number that will take the $1000 prize. Remember...most of the growers will be from minnesota...september blight is hard to overcome. I will post the guess winner prizes as we come up with them.

I get to put a guess in too. i am already seeing some signs of blight, I think it is going to hit hard this year. Hmmm what is the biggest someone can come up with by the middle of september to have a chance of storing for three weeks. I think qtip is a bit high...my guess will be 1/3 of his 4.15 pounds for the win.
