Maxifort and super natural. I did three 6.23 megazac on maxifort for practice but i can't through them out now. I will have to let these grow to 4'-5' before i set tomatoes on these. They will be in a pot to long to due it any other way. I am also doing 3 grafts on my eater tomatoes. One with the super natural rootstock.

I forgot about the spirit rootstock also. I think that i will start those 3 rootstock seeds tomorrow so that they will be ready for my second round plants.

WOW! Everyone is getting the jump on the coming season. It looks like there could be a shift away from Big Zac and toward Domingo and some of the crosses. Am I the only one still growing Delicious? Where are all the offspring of the famous Boudyo 5.07, a BZ offspring? Is anyone still growing Brutus Magnum? MegaMarv? And what is all this rootstock stuff? Have I missed something this winter while basking in the sun in Florida and snoozing a lot (eyes now popped open)?

If you or anybody else in the Oregon/Washington area need some plants, I usually have plenty to supply in a month from now. I'll drive a couple of hours one way. Grafting does look interesting. I'm sure I'll give it a try.. someday. It might be the next frontier for giant tomato's.

Also, 5.95 Konieczny 4 (Domingo) that grew the 8.22? But this whole thing may be one giant disaster. Note to self: Never ever put seeds on the heating pad in the evening just to check it in the AM and find your soil at 110F. We will see if I just killed them all.

The 5.63 was from the original magazac. Wixom, after your ribbon blossom on your 6.23 I was bidding high on one of the remaining original megazac. Udos overbid me. I don't think he was disapointed with the result. Good luck with your 5.63's greg . These should be F2's each plant will show its own characterics...I would love to get seeds from the best one.

Bob, in 2017 Udo grew 3.64 tomatoes from these 5.63 Big Zac tomatoes on an open pollination. I plan on growing the 5.63 tomatoes in an area of my yard where my pumpkin patch is between my cherry tomatoes and my neighbor's tomatoes. I think this is the best way to assure a self/sibling pollination by the bees. You are welcome to have some of my seeds provided I get these tomatoes to the weigh off.

You are right wixom...the 5.63 is showing grown from the 3.79 Wiesli, The original megazac weighed 5.56 according to his 2017 diary. Did you start any 5.56's greg.

Udo's 5.56 2017 was from a MegaZac that was open pollinated. Do you want me to start a few seeds? Would it be a good cross if they were grown together?
