jeremy, i know you are upset. But lets try to be a little civil.!Politics has been taboo subject on the tomato board for as long as I can remember.You have lost one of your teammates, but I am afraid I have also lost. At last email DS is not only withdrawing from team competition but also from BP. I hope he posts a picture of his indoor tomato that will be picked this weekend. I am afraid I am losing the best competition for myself in the winter grows. Chasing his numbers keeps me trying new things.

Drop out Dan is out...the guy who won’t hand out seeds because he doesn’t want people profiting off his hard work...many auction requests turned down ...I get that...and in a weird way kinda respect it...but then goes and sells a2145 for 600.00...here..on this site...profiting off of gene’s hard work?...I don’t care if he bought it at auction ...you tell him I said good riddance...

This stuff will clear up once people are working in the sun, back in their gardens. Lack of vitamin D affects people in many ways. All you have to do is grow the biggest two tomatoes you possibly can and have them weighed. Am I missing something? Bob? Don't get hung up on PC's jibber jabber.

you might have to read for a few hours Rick to catch up to the situation. Porkchop...to be honest..these past few days have taken much of my exuberance for growing this summer away. I spent the day thinking about maybe I should take the summer off. Fix the shift tower on my WD45, weld up a new frame for the front end loader and then dig my soil down two feet and rebuild it the way I always wanted to be and get ready for 2019. Not possible to do with plants in the ground. I am not a cold weather outdoor person. People can change their mind about growing..they also can change their mind about not growing. Remember..if you get two A growers..there are two teams right now that are headless.

qtip..i sent my first email out to recruit an A replacement for my team about 2 hours and 15 minutes ago. About 1 hour and 45 minutes before you accused me of abandoning my team. I am trying to do what I can for my team. Free competition...big deal. I am sorry...my time is not free. I will never give up growing qtip. Just will grow as I feel like.
I have just received an email from a C grower, they sent a response to their A grower..and received a snotty response. I have offered what I can to help him as I can.
Porkchop...i don't know where you come up with...i change my mind often? I am sure you can think of many names to call me.
Of the 64 growers remaining of the original...am I the only one to think that 66 sign up by the deadline for the random pick and 1 week later a team is accepted that includes a grower that declined the team competition when it was random, but ok when it was with a friend.

I just went over the edge.

no, I am not back to team...and I won't be. I intend to finish the winter grow and then decide what I am going to do this summer. If i do have take rest year..watch out for me in 2019. My outdoor garden then might be at the level of my indoor.
