Everyone have there onions started for the triple crown? The guy is across the pond say to keep the seedlings at 55 to 60 degrees. Still having a hard time believing this is the correct temperature.... what is everybody else keeping their temperature at for their onions

Mine are sitting at around 68-70 seem to be doing good. Onions do favor cool temps so your guy might be correct. I had read 70 degrees from a guy doing exhibition onions in the UK.

I am a little late...starting seeds today. Cold temps...that is going to be difficult. My whole house is 75, my grow room runs 85-88. The house is heated with lights. Will have to figure this out after they germinate. Maybe my t-5s will fit into my wine chiller....

I have mine at 70 degrees in the basement under grow lights. I am thinking about how to get them to Florida for more sunlight. Maybe I'll just have to go there for a month for the sake of my onions?

Mine are 75-77 degrees, I have no idea how to get it cooler as I have my house at 70 and the lights are giving off heat.

My germination rate was bad at 84 degrees. One came up after dropping temp to 74 degrees. Thinking I cooked the rest. The seed I'm using is older. I'm going to try again.
