Congratulations to the growers that finished this contest with a sound tomato. This is what i think are the official results.
1st bnot Robert Borgers Spring Lake Park, Mn 2.51 pounds (I think he was cheating with his grow room)
2nd EVandy Andrew Pilger Arvada, Co 1.33 pounds (great job by a rookie winter grower..I expect to see big numbers next winter)
3rd Wixom-grower(chris) Chris Konieczny Northville, Mi 0.56 pounds (great job getting another new variety for growers to try.)
4th Garden Rebel Rick Spaziani Lebanon,Or 0.19 pounds (you deserve a special award for persistence. Where most growers would have thrown in the towel you hung in there. I am going to be worried next winter...with what you learned this year next winter is going to be real big)
Congratulations again to all of you... Awards should be in the mail just as soon as i receive them from the special order place. I am expecting later this week.

I dq'd qtip with his 3.9 oz tomato. With blossom end rot I thought that GPC would not allow it as a sound tomato. Congratulations to you too Qtip, Next winter you are going to have to avoid taking a vacation in the middle of the grow season :)

Thanks to all the Winter challenge growers for keeping us interested during the cold months of the year. Get ready, set, go. It is time for the summer season to begin.
