SEAMSFASTER

East Carbon, Utah

I grew Steakhouse alongside 83 other giant tomato varieties. The largest specimen was 0.868 lbs.; most were around 1/2 pound. There were a couple of double blossoms, but nothing I would call a megabloom. 81 of those varieties outperformed Steakhouse - "The largest tomato ever bred". The only one that Steakhouse beat out was Severnyi - but that plant died before it even put out a blossom, so maybe that doesn't count?
Thoroughly unimpressed, but maybe I got a bad packet of seeds?

Sounds like your Steakhouse seeds were something quite different and worth growing again Chris!
