Most lineups change multiple times before the seeds start to soak. We know some of you have some soaking, some are sprouted and the rest just waiting on the go day to arrive. What seeds have made your final "go day" lineup?

For competition purposes I've DECIDED.
6 plants hopefully all grafted:

290 Kent 10
272.5 Neptune(K) 14
267 Edwards 08
168 Bright 17
283.5 Dawson 17
171.5 Cantrell 17

Going to do a separate commercial grow with multiples of each for:
Density: 283.5 Dawson and 238.5 Holloway
Lobe count vs weight comparison: 140.5 Cantrell and 165 Cantrell(B)
Length: 249 Bright and 151 Bright 84

Right now the only thing for sure is
3 @ 291.4 Lindley (Grafted and ready)
291 Kent

Rootstock is up just waiting on the following to germ
239 Leonard's
245 Bartoli's
350.5 Kent's
255 Mitchell's
302 Kent's
298.5 Lindley's
238.5 Holloway's

I plan to grow in the commercial patch
283 Dawson x 5 (different rootstocks)
170.4 Lindley - blue rind x 10 (shape test and crossing with CC)
57 Lindley - blue rind x 10 (shape test)
60.6 Lindley x 5 (for lobe count and shape test)
(295.5 Kent (5 lobe) x 239 Leonard)

8 plants made up in some combination of the following:
302 kent
318 kent
315.5 kent

best plants get the spots !

Unless this winter weather continue, in which case the weeds get the spots as they are growing very nicely !

p.s.
Also some bushel gourds too. 268 kent and ___ haven't decided.

This year I am looking to self Chris Kent's JBD x CC crosses from 2016. I will grow multiple plants. Hopefully many will carry on the JBD Characteristics and we can begin to isolate genes. I just started grafting them this week. Some will be on Shintosa camelforce, some will be on Rampart, and some will be on Caveman's club rootstock. I am hopeful to get some nice big melons and some good genetic lines for the future.

Jeez.
Wish I had more room.
Will start 4-6.
Best one will make the patch.
2nd best will be grown in a 20 gallon pot for use as a pollinator.
Rest will be back ups-or given away.
283 Dawson for sure.
Have to sit down this week and decide on the others.

I plan to set out plants tomorrow using these:
140.5 Cantrell - High lobe count potential
165 Cantrell - High lobe count potential
214 Lindley - High lobe count potential
259 Mitchell - High lobe count potential
229 Bright - Length
249 Bright - Length
224 Westfall - Length
These will be grown primarily for seed and to possibly find some good genetic options for the future. Jeremy Lindley has grafted a few 350 Kent X 262 Carson crosses and 238 Brights for me to grow for size. He is also doing some others for me.

The 214.5 Lindley was a selfed 295.5 Kent which was a selfed 251 Kent. It was also the pollinator to the 302 Kent. The 213 Lindley was the selfed 239 Leonard.

Jeremy I found it interesting that your 291 and your 253 were both from 272.5 K. Neptune’s but they were different color seeds.
