-tyler from ohio is bringing his melon poking gourd as to poke the melons from a safe from being eaten distace
-and there is a melon out there rumored to be the exact measurements of a barn
-oh and there is a big fat piggy at the new weigh in site we may can wrangle for size comparison pictures
- Younger arkansas grower said he so scared of kentucky melon weighoff he is going to sit in the rocking chairs on the porch, back at his house in arkansas

No I don't think we're going to pull it yet. The plant still looks good even with the stump trouble and the melon is still growing although slowly. Chris's posted something that got me thinking and I think I'm about to experiment a little more. If it doesn't work out then we will see how it weighs in a few weeks. But if everything works out and we can keep the plant healthy and the melon growing, then I may carve this thing for Halloween. I think I would call it a Jack O Melon!!

Yeah Jeremy your right. 189-200 is like a no fly zone... I think Chris will be a little disappointed if it's not over 200 though.

It tapes 178 now. I figure 5+ picking bonus(the shelf sags so when measured on flat ground i gain 2 inches+) so thats 183 and it goes 10% heavy due to being a fat melon = 201

anyway, thats what i'm hoping for. Can't wait for saturday !!! :)
